Welcome to ELAD'S leather armor. We specialize in the art of armor and costume design.
Our patrons include LARP (Live Action Roleplaying), SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism),
Renaissance and Medieval Fair enthusiasts, as well as performing artists in theater, television,
movies, music, pro wrestling, martial arts, fencing and paintball.
With our ability to hand-sculpt and wet-form the leather, we are able to achieve interesting and unique
results. The armor that we create is fully-functional, articulating and can be displayed.
We use ten-to-fourteen ounce, tooling sides for our armor plates. For pieces that are heavily sculpted,
we use eight-to-ten ounce leather. Our War Kilts are made with five-to-six ounce, utility,
chap sides. Our hardware is nickel-plated steel. We have a variety of dye colors
available, including metallic and antiquing finishes. We also offer a
wide range of decorative options for your armor.
If you present us with someone else's image or artwork for custom armor, we can only do our artistic interpretation of that work, loosely
based on, but not a replica of the copyrighted work. If you have original images or artwork of your own, we will do our best to meet
your exact specifications.
